it was my great honor to receive the Toni Puente Equality Award from Imperial Court de San Diego at the Court’s annual Royale Gala event. Imperial Court de San Diego, Chapter of the International Imperial Court System, since 1972, has raised millions of dollars for LGBTQ organizations and civil rights causes, and the Court’s activism continues to shape the LGBTQ community. Trailblazer, activist and leader, Toni Puente is the namesake of the award. The award is presented to Attorney Young in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Imperial Court and community at large. Attorney Young is appreciative of this great honor.
